About Me


Michelle Athy is an author of many genres and eras. Her historical novella Pearl was published in 2015, followed by a companion short story “When Mary Left.” Her speculative fiction story “Haunted Lake” was published in the anthology Full Dark. She is a graduate of Emerson College’s Writing, Literature, and Publishing program, a romance novel junkie, avid theater fan, and a history nerd. Michelle lives in New York City, where she was born and raised.

She also holds an M.S. in Publishing from Pace University. Michelle interned at the Sarah Jane Freymann Literary Agency and W.W. Norton, among other places, before trying her hand at self-publishing.
